Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a type of trauma therapy that utilizes your brain’s built in processing mechanisms to heal from traumatic experiences. While EMDR was developed as a trauma therapy, I have found it can also be helpful as an additional tool for emotional processing that isn’t related to trauma and for changing negative core beliefs. You and I can discuss if this would be a helpful tool to add on to your therapeutic experience.
